Commission collection represents over 80% of travel agencies revenue but many commissions contain discrepancies.
Sion is a software that simplifies the travel commission process by making it intuitive, automated, and transparent for suppliers trying to reconcile these commissions.

Sion provides a multi-faceted value proposition for travel agencies, hotels, car rental companies, and other enterprises throughout the travel industry. They are creating one centralized system that maintains transparency & accountability:

Transparency

No more missing, unclaimed, or unmatched payments. With Sion, you get total visibility across your entire business! Users can create complete client profiles or have access to all the information related to a supplier.


Auto-reconciliation

Sion is designed so users get total visibility across their business, whether you are flying solo or an agency with hundreds of independent contractors.
Payments are automatically reconciled and linked to each individual booking. Also, users can import batch payments so they don't have to enter them individually.

Auto-invoicing

Invoices are auto-generated when users create a booking.

We alert users when an invoice hasn't been paid or is due. Auto-invoicing also updates the amount listed based on any changes made to the original booking.

Vision & Execution

The old process for travel agents to log, manage, and track their commissions is antiquated, unorganized and often with manual intervention which challenges data integrity. Until now, no other company has been able to integrate existing infrastructure to close this gap for travel industry suppliers and operators.  

Sion was designed to provide the easiest, fastest and user-friendly platform to identify, reconcile, recover, track and understand your commission’s status. Preventing hours of wasted time and unnecessary communications with vendors in an effort to recover and reconcile.

The user onboarding was the first step into improving product usability, making it more appealing and simple to use for every travel agency no matter the size.

Once the new user onboarding was implemented to the live app, we continued working on improving the other existing features such as bookings, user settings, statements, and payments.
