50% of Americans don't budget themselves. MÜLA was designed as the simplest and fastest way to manage all your day to day expenses.
MÜLA's focus is to synthesize a young, hip, and creative culture with a world that lacks it most, the financial world. Implementing our three features: Budgeting, Investing and sending/borrowing money.
Unlike traditional financial advisors, MÜLA was geared towards the millennial/middle-income market.
So, we designed MÜLA to analyze a user's particular financial situation, particular liquidity, income, and spending patterns.
MÜLA recommends a customized portfolio of ETFs and provides the user with consistent savings plans to encourage accelerated growth of their assets.
All interactions in the product are designed to create the most simple experience possible while giving the most complete set of information to help the user track expenses and payments.
Each feature of the app is color-coded to help identify it on each of the individual graphs.
The onboarding process required some specific steps and functionalities, such as linking your SSN or Bank Account.
So we have to add extra security features, such as a custom PIN number for sign up and extra confirmation screens.
After completing the MVP the company managed to raise $1.5 Million which helped them go to Series A.
When the company released the first beta they got privately acquired and the original founders got to exit. The company then changed their name to EXEQ which then modified their vision into a more youthful and playful fintech company for younger kids.
